Drouin Speedway fires up again this Sunday from 11am at Jindivick Road Drouin West with something for dad, mum & the kids featuring the V8 Hot Rods from the SDAV Club wrapped in their old 34′ Ford based designs & on the same program both divisions of Junior Sedans have rounds of their track championships as do the Standard Saloons. Rounding out the complete program is some Ladies Standard Saloon racing, Wingless Sprints & sometimes unique, Unlimited Sedans.<\/p>\n
The Hot Rods will be headlined by the current Victorian Champion & honary club local Dean West who is from just down the road at Maryknoll. The champ is looking forward to defending the state championship after Christmas at Drouin Speedway he, Allen Luckett, Shannon Meakins, Phil Jenkins & Kali Hovey are just some of the close knit club who should be at Drouin for a hit out on Sunday.<\/p>\n
The Standard Saloons are the biggest club category & their second round of the track championship includes Mark Miles, Travis Evans, Jeff Blencowe, Aaron Price & Matt Nelson who should all put on fantastic racing with it hard to pick a winner. <\/p>\n
The Wingless Sprints include Sprintcar star Tony Moule up against Wayne Hurford & New South Wales Troy Carey and a few of the girls. Bianca Reeves, Skye Day & Kellie Banks are looking to dish out the dirt on the guys as they hope to head to victory.<\/p>\n
The Ladies is going to be a tough battle with Sonia Nelson, Tegan Bullard & Sharon Morrison already entered to compete and the numbers could be near ten racers before they start. <\/p>\n

Gates open at 8.30am racing from 11am with entry at $15 for Adults, a family ticket is $40 for two adults & 2 kids, kids aged 12 \u2013 16 enter at $10 as do aged & invalid pensioners. Any child under the age of 12 is free<\/p>\n
