This Sunday Drouin Speedway roars again with an exciting mix of Classic & Vintage Speedway cars enjoying the second of two days racing in Gippsland whilst the feature event on the program is the LV Core & Saw Junior Standard Saloon series competing in their third of four rounds.<\/p>\n
The Classics and Vintage Super Modifieds have nineteen entries and will return to Drouin after racing at Rosedale the previous night. If you want to re-live Speedway era\u2019s from years ago you have to come and see the Vintage cars winged and non winged with roll cage and without. There are cars from all across Australia to keep people enthralled with race drivers this weekend from Queensland and New South Wales joining the Victorians.<\/p>\n
The annual six cylinder Standard Saloon feature race is on and the field includes a couple of ring-in\u2019s who have jumped into six cylinder cars for the day. Daniel Stewart and Leigh Gooding have found a car to run and Dale Morrison will have a steer and hassle the lads whilst Dev Saunders, Ash England and Travis Evans have been in form at Drouin at times this season and they could have a say in the result.<\/p>\n
The Junior Standard Saloons series round includes the strong front runners of the season Tyson Cull, Michael Suckling, Steven Danks, Josh Thomas, Cooper Cappellari, Ty Hutton & Ally Morrison. The series has been great action so far and Danks has been hard to beat however a last start win at Drouin by Cull gives him some confidence going into this round. <\/p>\n
SSA Junior 1200 Sedans are programmed as were Ladies Sedans & Open Sedans for the final round of their track championship series subject to nominations.
