CRAZINESS OF THE CRASH & BASH BACK AT DROUIN THIS SUNDAY

This Sunday Drouin Speedway hold the massively popular Victorian Crash & Bash title with around thirty competitors due to compete including last year’s champion ‘Goose’ Young who took a memorable win on the last lap by spinning the race leader at the time with just metres to spare in getting to the line & crossed the line himself for the win.

Young headlines a field of over thirty other competitors who are all aiming to get to the finish line first whilst not knowing if anybody in the way or chasing from behind are going to hit their car stopping them in their tracks.

Peter Cox, Lennie Bonnici, Finley Burke & the McKendry brothers are just some that will be in amongst the action this Sunday.

The Mini Sprints run the second annual ‘Mighty Mouse’ Magic event with a new winner to be crowned as last year’s winner has not entered. Dave May the Victorian Champion would be a very hot favourite coming off a win this past Saturday night & will be challenged by Kevin Bomford, Matt Parsons, Owen Bulman & Luke Heppell-Hickson amongst others.

The Warragul Autobarn Open VSC Sedan Slam returns for a second season & entries are only just starting to come in with Mick Evans, Jaedn Alberni, Nathan Fawns, Joel Andrews & Marcus Reddecliffe amongst those who will compete for the prize money paying event. Fawns & Alberni just finished fourth & fifth in a big event in Ballarat whilst Evans is hard to beat at Drouin in his V8 powered Torana.

National Junior Sedans, Junior Standard Saloons, Ladies Standard Saloons & Open Standard Saloons are all on the show also.
