Great news for Speedway fans & motoring enthusiasts in West Gippsland with news that ‘Autobarn’ Warragul have come on-board as the naming rights sponsor of the VSC Sedans Top Gun $1000 to win at Drouin Speedway on June the 1st.
Autobarn have long been associated with motorsport and motoring events over many years and the new owners of Autobarn in Warragul are pleased to put into the community they have now become a part of.
The VSC Sedans Top Gun $1000 brings Autobarn into grass roots motorsport and drivers & fans are encouraged to support Drouin Speedway on June the 1st and come and have a great time watching a race open to a mixture of sedans as long as they are Victorian Speedway Council registered.
One of the proprietors of Autobarn Warragul Peter has enjoyed attending Drouin Speedway on occasions with Wingless Sprintcar identities Dayn Bentvelzen & Anthony Di Maria and made contact with Dean Thompson of DMT Sports Media to discuss some options to introduce Autobarn Warragul into the Speedway family.
“We made contact with Dean as we sponsor Dayn’s racing already. What we wanted to do this time is get involved with a club & the options we discussed with Dean allow us to do so and suit what we want to start with at this time. We look forward to making friends from within the area that are involved in speedway or are a fan of motoring of any sort and hope we can talk to them about how we can help them with their automotive needs.” Shared Peter.
Autobarn Warragul already support other events and clubs in the community. “We take pride in supporting the local community. Drouin Speedway Club becomes another in a long list of those that we have become involved in. It is very important to keep activities such as motorsport in the area and give enthusiasts a place to enjoy cars.”
